Advisor to the Ibero-American General Secretariat and Director of the Fourth Sector Project for Latin America
Diego Rubio is a Spanish Academic and a Policy Analyst. He is the Director of The Fourth Sector Project for Ibero-America (www.thefourthsector.net), a multi-stakeholder initiative led by the Ibero-American General Secretariat (SEGIB), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and the World Economic Forum’s FSDI that works to advance the development of a new policy and regulatory ecosystem for benefit-driven enterprises.
Diego is also a Professor at IE School of International Relations, and the Executive Director of its Center for the Governance of Change (www.cgc.ie.edu). Prior to that, he worked as Lecturer and Research Fellow at the University of Oxford, and advised a number of organizations, including the United Nations, the European Commission, and the Spanish Government. He holds a PhD from the University of Oxford, and has been visiting scholar at Paris-IV Sorbonne and Columbia University.
